Now the reason I decided to address this question, was because I teach thousands of product companies across the country on the subject of selling to retailers, and Neiman Marcus comes up all time for a certain clientele who have more of a high end product and want to get into certain department stores. So allow me to share a quick tip for you to consider when it comes to selling to Neiman Marcus.
What you can sell to Neiman Marcus
If you walk into Neiman Marcus, you’ll know that they’re very high end: it’s not like a typical department store because they have products that are premium-priced. If you have a premium product then this could be a great place to sell it. And the cool thing about Neiman Marcus is that they have beautiful products, even allowing more specialized products like handmade stuff and other unique ones in their stores. They like going with really cool, innovative products with good variety. They’re constantly looking for cool and interesting stuff.
Why you should sell to Neiman Marcus
Neiman Marcus was recently purchased by another company and there’s a lot of movement going on nowadays. When there’s a transition like this, it’s a great time for you to reach out to those buyers. If you’ve ever reached out to Neiman Marcus in the past and they weren’t responsive or weren’t interested in your product, it might be a good time to try again. Since there were shifts happening in that store, that means new buyers are coming in, resulting in new opportunities for you.
Now is the perfect time to become a Neiman Marcus supplier
This could be perfect time for you to reach out to them again and let them know who you are. I recommend that you get started asap by reaching out to Neiman Marcus as soon as you can. This is a great opportunity to take advantage of and may grant you long term results. I wish you the best!
