FaireFaire connects retailers and makers through an international wholesale marketplace with over 500,000 buyers across North America, Europe and Asia. Established in 2017 and featuring strong curatorial standards. Since its inception the platform has experienced rapid transaction growth at an impressive take rate. Retailers benefit from the marketplace by having access to an expansive array of independent brands and makers, which helps them remain competitive while offering unique experiences to customers. Furthermore, they may secure better shipping and fulfillment deals and decrease their risk of inventory that does not sell quickly enough. It may be wise to ask potential wholesale suppliers who their backup suppliers are in case any supply chain issues affect the primary warehouse warehouse.
