Chico’s FAS (Chico’s, Soma and White House Black Market) recognizes the importance of staying up-to-date with technological trends. Store associates still utilize traditional paper customer books to record notes about purchases made and style preferences in order to offer customers an engaging shopping experience on subsequent visits; however, Chico’s FAS has begun implementing new tools which assist their store associates in this regard.


What to Expect

Inventory

Chico’s associates use modern technology and old-school service to foster lasting customer relationships. For instance, Chico’s rewards frequent shoppers with loyalty cards while encouraging associates to deliver tailored customer experiences based on customer needs. Unfortunately, even with best intentions it can be challenging to meet demand for such personalized care in a large retail environment; to combat this challenge Chico’s turned to Salesfloor’s RFID solution to increase visibility of inventory at both point-of-sale and distribution centers from receipt through store door exit door; thus helping limit lost sales due to either lack of availability or inaccurate inventory information.
