Retail MBA Challenge – Sell Your Products to Retailers in 2015

retailaThis year I’d like to try something different. I’d like to CHALLENGE you to sell your products to retailers in 2015!

Most of you inherently know what action steps you need to take in order to get your business on the right path. For instance, if you are in the product development stage – you need to create prototypes or find the right manufacturer.

If your product is retail ready- you know you need to either master the skills of getting products into stores or get support from manufacturers reps and distributors.

Whatever it is for you, my hunch is that you know on some level the action steps you need to take in order to make things happen! You may not know exactly HOW to turn things around, but you know that if you invest the time and effort to figure out next steps, you probably can find the right person or circumstance to support you.

I truly believe there is no obstacle that can’t be overcome. For example, even if you are totally financially broke, someone on this planet can invest in you and your product. You just have to figure out who to approach and how to approach them the right way. It will take some effort, but if you want it bad enough, you can make it happen. This goes for every obstacle you come across. Someone has your answers!

As a business owner, I can relate to the trials and tribulations of trying to make your dream happen. A dream that forces you to stretch and grow and learn new things, even when you don’t want to!

A dream that’s sometimes bigger than you – a dream that doesn’t always make logical sense. A dream that doesn’t always let you sleep. 🙂 But if you stick to this dream and you challenge yourself to make things happen, it will. You have one life to live – Are you willing to take whatever action steps are necessary to take your professional life to the next level?

With that said, I challenge you to do the following:

1) Write down your exact desire for your product business in 2015

2) Write a list of all the things that need to be accomplished in order to make this happen

3) Get an accountability partner or a mentor. Someone who will help you become accountable for your actions. Or find someone who can answer the questions you are struggling with. Or someone who is a friend who can hold you accountable!

4) Start tackling the list of things that need to be worked out in order to make things happen

Bottom line is this…You know what you need to do to take your business to the next level. So what are you waiting for? Don’t let another year pass you by.

Take serious action steps TODAY to get your products into stores!

To Your Success,
